Beach

Our 200m long sandy beach is ideal for children and adults alike to enjoy the holiday spirit. It is absolutely safe to swim in Lake Langano. The depth of the water increases relatively slowly, however, it is advisable for those not too confident with their swimming not to attempt going too deep, far off the beach.

Remember that we are just above the equator, at an altitude of 1600m above sea level, where the intensity of the sun is extremely high! We strongly advise the use of sun protective lotion.

At the beach you will also find a wooden dock that takes you for a walk almost 30m inwards onto the lake. The floating end of the dock is used both by boats to drop passengers off as well as a favourite spot to sit and relax at the rhythm of the moving waves.
